QLIK DATA ANALYSTPurpose and Scope/General Summary: This role reports to the Business Analysis Division Controller for the JBS Regional Beef business unit. There is close interaction with several departments at the corporate office including Sales, Pricing, Scheduling, and Operations. This position also works closely with team members at our plant locations to ensure that our reporting is timely and accurate. The desired candidate must have strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. This role is responsible for a variety of high-visibility and high-impact reports and is a great opportunity for the right person to launch a long-term career with JBS.Responsibilities:Development and maintenance of analytical tools/models for all areas of Regional Beef Business UnitProvide timely and accurate analysis to leadership and other decision-makers at JBSTake lead on identifying areas where further analysis can improve performance and financial resultsWork closely with department managers to complete information requests with a focus on continuous improvement and automationImplement new technology where needed to improve processes and the quality of informationBe able to clearly communicate with leadership and peers on complex issues specific to the industryOther analysis and project management to support the Regional Beef teamOther duties as assignedQualifications: Bachelor s Degree in IT related field preferredExperience in Accounting/Finance setting preferred1+ years
experience in data visualization and analyticsExperience in one of the following tools (Qlik Sense, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Alteryx)Experience with SQL Script, SAP Business Objects, and Snowflake is desiredStrong organizational skills and acute attention to detailsExceptional analytical and problem solving skillsExperience with data preparation and data modeling is desiredAdvanced skills in Excel preferredSelf-motivated, with the ability to work independently and ask questions as neededMeat industry experience is a major plusCan perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodationAs a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations.
