This opportunity requires time management skills, good communication, and basic accounting knowledge. Hands-on approach and problem solving mindset are recommended.Major ResponsibilitiesConsistently delivers timely and accurate reports, and information as neededProcess cattle lots as they arrive on siteMaintain SOX compliance when handling and storing lot detailsAssist Accounting Supervisor with livestock reportingDetailed DutiesCollect lot paperwork from the livestock officeVerify all incoming CPS lots for accuracyVerify the branding is valid for the lotWork with Harvest Floor to move drives through the Shop Floor programProcess condemn head paperwork from USDAMaintain orderly files in compliance with SOXAssist the Accounting Supervisor with auditsFile and recall lot paperwork as neededHelp drive cost savings and Process improvement for the areaRequired QualificationsA high school degree or GED, some college preferredHave 2 - years of related experience (or schooling) in accounting operations10-key for speed and accuracyBasic understanding of logistics and terms like FOB, CWT, Tare, and NETA high level of accuracy and attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectivelyBase pay $22.75/hrEOE/Vets/Disability
