Description: Position Summary: Responsible for all payment posting demands.Position ResponsibilitiesPost all payments (checks, garnishments, money orders and cash)Issue refunds on overpaymentsElectronically deposit checks.Sort all incoming mail to the corrected department daily.Process all Wells Fargo returned checks.Back up to run the Batch Payment Wizard for Credit Cards and ACH's dailyBack up to post Credit card and ACH batchesBack up to post all direct payments manually and thru the ExchangeOther duties and responsibilities as may be assigned periodically by management.Requirements:Essential Skills and AbilitiesAbility to work independently.Typing and 10-key calculator experienceStrong computer skillsStrong analytical, organizational, time management and multi-tasking skillsAbility to accurately work with and calculate numbers.Required Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum one year experience in professional office settingReporting to this position: No direct reportsSalary: $16 - $20 hourlyPhysical demands and working environment.The physical demands and working environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
