Heart catheterization is a low-risk, 30- to 60-minute procedure to diagnose or treat cardiovascular disease. /n /n/n /n Through minimally invasive intervention, our team can correct coronary artery blockages with balloon angioplasty and coronary artery stenting, including percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty, coronary artery stenting and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). /n /n/n /n Schedule: Full time /n /n/n /n Shift : Days /n /n/n /n Facilities : AdventHealth Castle Rock OR AdventHealth Parker /n /n/n /n Location: 2350 MEADOWS BLVD, Castle Rock, 80109 OR 9395 CROWN CREST BLVD, Parker, 80138 /n /n/n /n The role you’ll contribute: /n /n/n /n Assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient. Promotes the optimal health, well-being, and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrates personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values. /n /n/n /n The value you’ll bring to the team: /n /n/n /n/n /n - Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data. Evaluates patient’s response and intervenes to ensure optimal patient outcome. /n /n - Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. /n /n - Demonstrate competency in a variety of therapeutic/diagnostic interventions including but not limited to IV’s, incision/ wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections. /n /n - Promote, advocate, and collaborate to protect the health and safety and rights of each patient. /n /n/n /n/n /n Qualifications /n /n The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: /n /n/n /n/n /n - A graduate of an accredited school of nursing or degree program /n /n - Current Colorado RN License or a Compact RN License from a NCLA Compact State /n /n - BLS certification credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) /n /n - One year experience strongly preferred (nursing skills and knowledge base) specific to Cath Lab /n /n/n /n/n /n This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
