School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A small
school district in Wyoming, Michigan, is seeking a part-time School
Psychologist to assist with evaluations and IEP development for
upper elementary and middle school students. This contract position
offers 15-20 hours per week, starting as soon as possible and
continuing through the Extended School Year (ESY). Ideal candidates
will hold a Michigan School Psychologist certificate and have
experience working within school settings. This role supports a
team of two existing psychologists, helping to manage a caseload
that requires thorough evaluation and individualized support
planning. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct psychological evaluations
to identify student needs and inform instructional strategies. -
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings,
providing expert guidance on student accommodations and goals. -
Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop and
implement effective interventions. - Maintain accurate and timely
documentation consistent with district and state requirements. -
Provide support primarily for upper elementary and middle school
students. Desired Qualifications: - Valid Michigan School
Psychologist certificate is required. - Experience conducting
school-based psychological assessments. - Strong knowledge of IEP
processes and special education regulations. - Ability to work
collaboratively within a small, supportive team environment. -
Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of the districts
