Senior Mechanical Engineer - Greeley, CO Full-time - Direct hire Pay rate: $100,000+ (Depending on experience)Kelly Engineering client seeks an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with LED lighting design background to be a team leader. This person will drive the mechanical architecture for new designs and contribute to existing product improvements.This position is oriented for a proven leader that:

• Has mechanical experience in SolidWorks and LED light systems involving the aspects of thermal control, material selection, ingress protection, and high-volume manufacturing
• Has design experiences in plastic injection molding, extrusions, and thermal analysis. Optics are additionally preferred.
• Has experience in the product development process having transitioned prototypes through to manufacturing. Has also developed early-level manufacturing documentation and processes.
• Works closely with other engineers and performs technical reviews. Team focused around deliverables.
• Capable to diagnose issues of complex scope with design, field performance, and reliability in mind
• Exercises independent judgment, action, and takes ownership
• Determines material selection and works with Suppliers on quotes and part related issues Skills:
  • Proficient in SolidWorks - designs, drawings, and archiving
  • Design for manufacturability and reliability
  • Tolerance Analysis / GD&T desirable
  • Optical Design Software experience desirable (e.g., Synopsys LightTools, Radiance, DIALux, Photopia) Disposition:

      • Standard office environment and fast-paced lab; utilizing standard office and lab/shop equipment Education:
