As an integral part of Clean Harbors' engineering and maintenance team, the Maintenance Planner MX is responsible for developing, scheduling, and overseeing maintenance plans to ensure operational efficiency and safety. The Maintenance Planner will play a pivotal role in minimizing downtime and costs, while upholding the highest standards of environmental safety and compliance in alignment with our mission to protect the environment. Develop detailed maintenance strategies for handling hazardous waste and responding to emergency spills Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with environmental policies and regulations Collaborate with operations and safety departments to plan maintenance without interrupting essential services Analyze maintenance data and equipment history to predict maintenance needs and resource allocation Prepare cost estimates and budget reports for maintenance projects Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental impact Continuously improve maintenance procedures and practices based on latest industry standards and technological advancements Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational and planning abilities Proficient in maintenance management software such as CMMS Adept in regulatory compliance and safety management Capable of managing and leading cross-functional teams Effective communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance 401k Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) preferred OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) Certification
