JBS USA employs more than 100,000 team members, and our corporate office is located in beautiful Greeley, Colorado, where our 1,200 team members onsite enjoy more than 300 days of sunshine a year.Our International Logistics team is seeking a Customs Compliance Export Manager to manage international shipments and guide a team of approximately 27 team members. This role will be based at our Corporate Office in Greeley, CO.Principle Responsibilities: Serve as an export regulatory resource and SME for sales teams, production plants, customers, and other departments (IT, Finance or Accounting).Take ownership of export compliance.Ensure all regulatory matters are addressed timely and accurately.Ensure all customers' documentation matters are addressed timely and accurately.Develop and manage the customs and export compliance programs, activities and personnel to ensure compliance with all policies/procedures in accordance with all applicable export and import laws, statutes and regulations.Serve as a company contact and resource for all Government agencies for export regulatory issues.Enforces and monitors all compliance related to USDA.Monitor all performance metrics.Lead a team of 5 direct reports and 22 specialists, responsible providing accurate and timely documentation for our customers overseas.Provide data analytics on the performance of the team and network via regular Key Performance Indicators.Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for key job functions.Develop and deploy strategies that enable growth, improve costs and ensure performance.Other duties may be assigned.Requirements: Education: Bachelor degree in Business, Foreign Trade or Agricultural BusinessExperience and Qualifications: Minimum 8 years' experience working in a Freight Forwarder, Ocean Carrier or International logistics department of a large shipper.Commercial and financial awareness, particularly of transportation and logistics costs and regulations.Ability to identify and resolve high complexity process/system problems using financial, analytical, and/or statistical models.Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers and vendors, including also the ability to explain difficult operational and logistics concepts in plain terms.Strong leadership and management skills - minimum 3 years' management experience.Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously under high pressure and within demanding timeStrategic thinking and previous experience with change management.Must be flexible, organized, punctual, reliable, detail-oriented, team-oriented, and critical thinkingPrevious experience within the Food Industry and/or USDA is preferredSpecial Skills: Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point.Excellent multiple business applications skills.Strong knowledge of U.S. and International Trade regulationsExpert-level knowledge of Customs regulations and proceduresKnowledge of FMC regulationsKnowledge of SAP GTS is preferredHolder of a US Broker License is preferredSecond language - Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Spanish or Portuguese - is preferredThe applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits: Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;Base salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 annually; andThis position is eligible to participate in the Company's annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;The Company is dedicated to ensuring a safe and secure environment for our team members and visitors.
