Facilities Operations and Design & Construction teams are part of
larger department called Facilities Services. The Area Facilities
Director-- is one of 8 directors that lead a geographic area for
the enterprise. Facilities Operations is a single organization that
aligns practices and processes across the organization.As the Area
Facilities Director for Northern Colorado and Wyoming, you will
work in a fast paced, highly collaborative healthcare environment,
leading a high performing team of 6 direct reports and 38 FTE.--
This on-site role, will office in Northern Colorado with regular
trips to Wyoming Medical Center and monthly visits to Medical Group
Clinics, Urgent Care, Medical Office and Corporate buildings in the
Northern Colorado area. Enjoy a Monday - Friday, 8-5pm schedule
(with flexible start and end times) and afterhours/weekend leader
on-call rotation every 7 weeks. Your pay and benefits are important

patient care.POSITION SUMMARYThis position has accountability for
providing leadership, management, and administration of facility
services operations for all Banner facilities including medical
centers, BMG facilities, surgery centers and corporate buildings
within a service area. It helps plan and implements both system and
regional initiatives. Ensures a working environment supportive of
facility utilization in a reliable and cost effective manner. This
position is responsible for developing and maintaining a resource
strategy for facilities services that is responsive to the
continuous changes in the organization and corporate structure
while maintaining a close customer-responsive relationship.CORE
FUNCTIONS1. Provide leadership, management and guidance to area
team. Ensure compliance with strategic vision, and priorities while
seeking opportunities for efficiency. Identify high-value talent
within team to develop succession planning and manage talent
acquisition, assignments, and performance. Demonstrate leadership
qualities that foster a collaborative environment for continuous
improvement and development as well as continually supporting and
exhibiting company core values and service standards. Establish and
maintain a culture of customer responsiveness throughout the
team.2. Meet regularly with stakeholders including hospital
administration, corporate leadership, and areal clinical leadership
to understand current and future needs, pulse satisfaction, and
develop actions plans to meet facility requirements, delivering the
highest customer service and results.3. Provide leadership for area
team in developing annual business plans, operating and capital
budgets, managing cost and variances to ensure financial targets
are met or exceeded. Monitor performance goals, develop management
plan to meet or exceed metrics, and create improvement plan, when
applicable.4. Implement process improvements focused on service
support, preventive and predictive maintenance programs, efficiency
and cost while maintaining supportive environments for regional
teams.5. Provide leadership in collaboration with regulatory
management, emergency management and environmental health and
safety teams in developing compliance programs to meet CMS, TJC and
all AHJ licensing and regulatory standards.6. Assure collaborative
support to ROC, Shared Services, Supply Chain and other system
teams to deliver cost effective service excellence.7. Collaborate
with Development and Construction leadership to prioritize and
implement capital improvement projects, capital infrastructure
planning, and influence design standards based on operational
learnings and team feedback.8. This position has administrative
leadership responsibility for the daily operation of all facility
services and departments within assigned area. It is also
responsible for coordinating services with other administrators,
internal legal counsel, executives, and other staff. This position
has constant contact with staff members, with senior corporate
leaders, and with contract services. Customers of this position are
both internal and external, including leadership, staff, regulatory
agencies, and the community.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSExpert-level
working knowledge of principles, practices, and operations in
assigned area of responsibility as normally obtained through the
completion of a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.A minimum of
ten years of progressively responsible healthcare facilities
experience in designated facility, business entity or area,
including a minimum of five years management level experience
within a major health care organization, health system setting, or
large multi-operational corporate environment in complex industries
similar to healthcare. Proven track record of driving successful
performance outcomes and accomplishing organizational goals.
Experience anticipating and responding to the needs of internal and
external customers. Experience managing a budget. Strong financial
and business acumen. Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting
methodologies. Able to analyze and interpret data. Skilled in
building partnerships with management, staff, and stakeholders to
achieve department goals and objectives; managing problems and
situations where uncertainty is inherent; developing strong,
enduring, and trusting relationships; fostering the development of
cohesive teams; persuading others to adopt a particular stance on
an issue; developing and evaluating best practices and emerging
trends for organizational applicability and appropriateness;
constructing new and innovative solutions for complex and varying
problems and situations while considering the larger perspective or
context; mentoring and coaching staff by providing open and honest
feedback to enhance performance; developing and implementing
strategic goals and initiatives that support organizational
success; effectively allocating available resources; utilizing data
and information to make informed and appropriate decisions;

outside vendors/partners; developing collaborative relationships
with internal and/or external strategic partners and/or other
