Job Description:
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: This person will develop and
execute holistic communications plans while collaborating with
leadership, marketing, HR, and other key stakeholders across the
organization and within the industry. Develop and deliver
communications strategies, content, and reporting and insights that
support objectives and key performance
indicators.Responsibilities:GENERAL COMMUNICATIONS
Support all corporate communications efforts on behalf of JBS USA.
Serve as a primary resource for the comms team with both internal
and external clients.Develop talking points and key messages for
senior leadership.Assist with PR campaign execution.Identify
opportunities for storytelling throughout the organization.Other
duties as assignedINTERNAL & EXTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS Facilitate
proactive media relations efforts on behalf of the organization.
Develop internal communications strategy, in collaboration with
corporate communications and HR teams. Identify innovative ways to
engage and communicate effectively with the workforce.
Provide communications support during crisis management situations.
Create daily media monitoring and develop reports. CONTENT
CURATION, MANAGEMENT & MAINTENANCE Prepare high-quality content
(e.g. websites, internal announcements, press releases). Develop
key messages and talking points for priority areas and topics
within the organization.Ensure accuracy of customer and consumer
facing materials on a regular basis.SOCIAL MEDIA PLANNING &
MANAGEMENT Serve as the JBS USA/Pilgrim s corporate social media
lead. Create and manage a content calendar for all corporate social
media properties.Support communications activities as it relates to
social networking sites including Facebook, X and LinkedIn,
including posting content and responding to comments, questions,
concerns, etc.Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and
applications. Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and
social media best practices.SOCIAL /DIGITAL/ STRATEGY
DEVELOPMENT
Manage the development and enforcement of social media management
standards, policies and rules of engagement.Define key performance
indicators and implement enterprise level measurement, analytics
and reporting methods to gauge success.Mentor and support training
efforts to professionals throughout the organization on best
practices for creating, managing, monitoring and developing content
for social networks to maintain a cohesive social media
strategy.Qualifications: 7+ years of related experience required
Bachelor s degree in related field required Proven work experience
in communications An ability to identify target audience
preferences and build content to meet their needs Highly capable
project manager with excellent multi-tasking and organizational
skills Outstanding written/verbal communication skills Good
proofreading skills; attention to detail is a must Self-starter,
flexible, results-driven, quick-learning personality that easily
adapts to change Positive attitude and collaborative Assertive and
goal-oriented Ability to work effectively and under pressure with a
wide array of personalities and management styles
Appropriately screen and handle confidential and sensitive
information Understands social/digital media and proficient in
Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, etc. Understanding of SEO and web
traffic metrics As a salaried position with the company, you may be
required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend
Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other
situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount
of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing
and able to travel as business needs dictate.The applicant who
fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation
and benefits:Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin
after 60 days of employment;Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation,
and 6 company observed holidays;401(k): company match begins after
the first year of service and follows the company vesting
schedule;Base salary range of $130,000 - $160,000; andIncentive
Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company s
annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the
standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;For
individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, JBS and
Pilgrim s is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of
the compensation for this role. This compensation range is specific
to the State of Colorado and takes into account various factors
that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but
not limited to a candidate s relevant experience, qualifications,
skills, competencies, and proficiencies for the role.The Company is
