Job Description:
Sanitation Corporate Safety DirectorRESPONSIBILITIES:Leadership
role in the development and implementation of safety strategies,
programs, and policies for JBS USA Sanitation Corp. Ensures that
JBS Sanitation safety programs are communicated to the other BU
Corporate safety Directors and there is agreement on implementation
and alignment of responsibilities. Develops, maintains, and
monitors compliance with corporate safety and health processes at
an enterprise level.Provides leadership, direction, and support to
Sanitation Safety Supervisors, Sanitation Site Managers, and/or
Plant Safety Management with regards to JBS Sanitation programs,
procedures, and policies.Develops, supports, and executes processes
to reduce injuries and illness rates.Tracks metrics and drives
health and safety improvement and performance for JBS Sanitation
across all facilities. Manages all safety regulatory reporting
requirements and processes.Develops and participates in annual
Safety Management Systems Audits as it relates to sanitation at an
enterprise level to verify continuing compliance with corporate and
regulatory requirements.Identify culture focused trainings,
processes, and procedures with the goal of injury
prevention.Support and management of company wide strategies and
engagement with key government regulators and enforcement
agencies.Assists in injury investigations Prepares responses to
OSHA as necessary with collaboration with JBS Sanitation Head of
Operations and legal team.Other duties as assigned.Travels to
facilities (approximately 30%-50% travel) to assess compliance to
our developed JBS Sanitation safety programs and policies and to
coach our teams to facilitate reduced risks of injury to our team
members. QUALIFICATIONS: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in
a related field; however, additional related work experience will
be considered in lieu of the education requirement. A minimum of 8
years of occupational safety in the protein industry with at least
5 years in a plant environment. Experience supporting occupational
health and workers
compensation preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal
skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the
organization.Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving
skills.Can perform the functions of the job with or without a

be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:Benefits:
Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of
employment;Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company
observed holidays;401(k): company match begins after the first year
of service and follows the company vesting schedule; Base salary
range of $100,000-$130,000; andIncentive Pay: This position is
eligible to participate in the Company s annual bonus plan, the
amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and
conditions of the incentive program; This position does not have an
