Responsibilities and Role Description :
- As part of the Customer Success (CS) Team for the North America
(NAM) region, you will fulfill a number of customer facing roles
from a technical perspective. Introduce and educate prospects on
the technical aspects of Spatial's growing portfolio of products.
Guide and train evaluators on the best implementation strategy that
fits their requirements and workflow. Support and own the technical
relationship with existing customers. Together with the Account
Manager(s) and your Technical Lead (TL) for your region, you ensure
prospects, evaluators, and current customers are successful with
their solution.
- You will be expected to understand each of Spatial's products
from a high level in order to answer questions about what each of
the products do, how the products work, and how they bring value to
the customer. You'll use a combination of presentations, demos,
documentation, sample code already created, sample code you must
write, and other internal resources. Demonstrations are commonly
given to prospects and current customers.
- Effective, concise and productive technical communication
between the customer, your CS Team, Product Management (PM), and
R&D and Spatial is paramount and you will play a vital role.
Work directly with PMs to ensure they're up-to-date on the latest
customer needs.
- To stay current on the industry trends you're expected to
attend various trade shows throughout the year. Occasional travel
to customer sites are necessary for this position which can account
for approximately 15-25% of your time.
- The TAM is a critical communication point of contact and
advocate for prospects and customers. You will own and be
responsible for maintaining the technical customer relationships
long-term and follow-up on any critical issues that
arise.Background\Qualifications:
- BS - Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or
similar.
- Applicants should understand concepts related to 3D solid
modeling, CAD\CAM\CAE formats and Interoperability for 2D, 3D, and
a high-level understanding of FEA concepts.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling SDKs and related SDK is a plus.
- Proficient with the usage of Software Development Kits (SDKs)
generally is a plus.
- Preferably proficient with at least two of the following: C,
C++, C#, JavaScript.
- Background in CAD, CAM, CAE, EDA, FEA a plus.
- Knowledge of current web technologies and frameworks such as
JavaScript, WebGL, WebSockets, jQuery and TypeScript are a
plus.
- Must have an independent work ethic and be a self-starter.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills, poise and decorum.
- Strong experience in Customer Relationship Management with an
equally strong customer advocacy ethic.

- Note: Compensation for the role will be commensurate with
experience. The total expected compensation range will be between
$145k and $170K, representing the base salary (or annualized salary
based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus
