Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Sonora Quest. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.Key Responsibilities

• Perform waived and non-waived tests in an accurate and timely manner, with supervision.
• Assist with department compliance with all pertinent laboratory accrediting agencies and regulatory requirements.
• Collect, receive, and process biological specimens into the laboratory.
• Perform all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements.Requirements
  • Associate degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution, or equivalent laboratory training and experience.
  • Meet other criteria defined in the CLIA regulation 42CFR.
  • Demonstrated competency in phlebotomy in departments where applicable.Preferred Qualifications
    • MLT certification (ASCP, AMT, HEW, AAB).
    • Basic knowledge of specimen requirements and medical terminology.
