Schedule: Flexible Weekly Hours: 36.00 Salary Range: $38.00 -
$48.00 Sign-On Bonus: $20,000 Available Department Overview This
FLEX shift role requires availability for all shifts, including
day, evening, and night. Enjoy a FLEX premium pay of $5.00 in
addition to shift differentials of $1.25. Position Summary The
Registered Nurse (RN) will employ the nursing process—assessment,
diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation—to
deliver personalized nursing care to residents. This role involves
collaboration with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team
members, including healthcare providers, to plan, implement, and
assess care. The RN will demonstrate proficiency and operate within
the full scope of nursing knowledge, adhering to age and
population-specific standards relevant to their clinical
environment. Responsibilities include caring for residents across
all stages of preventive care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and
treatment. Additionally, the RN may act as a charge nurse,
delegating appropriate tasks to both licensed and unlicensed
assistive personnel, ensuring that all actions align with job
descriptions, skills, resident care needs, and the competencies of
the delegates. The RN will provide necessary support to ensure safe
and effective resident care and address any service concerns. This
role adheres to the standards of nursing practice as defined by the
Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in the state of
practice. The Professional Nursing Practice recognizes the Scope
and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses as
established by the American Nurses Association, serving as the
foundation for nursing care delivery and professional behavior.
Qualifications Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing
program is preferred, including institutions recognized by the
Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation
Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for
Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is preferred. Must possess an
unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing in the
state of practice, or hold multistate licensure if practicing in a
Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Must obtain and maintain
required department-specific competencies and certifications.
