This contract role involves working in a highly specialized main operating room unit performing advanced surgical procedures including total joints, spine, transplant surgeries (kidney and liver), robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastics. Candidates who hold an RN license and possess transplant skills will be prioritized for this rewarding assignment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional perioperative nursing care in a high-acuity operating room setting Assist with complex surgical procedures including transplant and robotic surgeries Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes Maintain strict adherence to unit policies, guidelines, and Meditech EMR documentation Participate in night and weekend call rotations as part of the clinical team Qualifications: Active RN license required Demonstrated experience with transplant surgeries highly preferred Minimum of 3 years OR nursing experience recommended Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) advantageous Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 7 AM to 7 PM Includes night and weekend call responsibilities This contract position is ideal for RNs seeking exposure to advanced surgical procedures in a dynamic and supportive environment with the opportunity to leverage new technology and seasoned OR teams.
