UCHealth, a leader in healthcare innovation and patient care, is seeking a Travel RN for our Emergency Department (ED) Holding unit. This position requires a highly flexible and compassionate RN who can adapt to various emergency situations while maintaining the highest standards of patient care. As part of our dedicated team, you will support patient flow and provide direct nursing care in our ED holding areas, ensuring a seamless transition for patients awaiting further treatment or admission. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the ED Holding area. Collaborate with ED physicians, staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and care coordination. Monitor patient status and respond to medical emergencies with precision and promptness. Administer medications, and treatments, and maintain detailed patient records. Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions. Strong clinical skills in an emergency medical setting Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in using healthcare software and systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license valid in state of Colorado BLS/ACLS certification required PALS or ENPC certification preferred TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) certification highly desirable
