UCHealth, a renowned leader in patient-centered care, is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our night team in the Mom Baby unit. This role is critical in providing nurturing care to new mothers and their babies during the vital first days. Working within our state-of-the-art facilities, the successful candidate will contribute directly to a team that prides itself on delivering top-tier medical services across Colorado. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, supportive environment with leading healthcare professionals. Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns. Educate and support mothers with breastfeeding, basic newborn care, and recovery management. Monitor vital signs of mother and baby and administer medications as prescribed. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other medical professionals. Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety are maintained in the unit. Support family members in the transition to home care. Strong clinical skills in postpartum, nursery, or labor and delivery. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment. Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado. BLS/CPR certified with NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification preferred.
