UCHealth, a leader in medical excellence in Colorado, is looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Technician specializing in Oncology. This role is pivotal in providing the highest quality of care by assisting with the preparation and dispensing of medications for oncology patients. As a part of our inpatient pharmacy team, you will work directly under the supervision of licensed pharmacists, helping to maintain an organized and efficient workflow that supports our patients’ complex needs. Your technical skills and attention to detail will play a critical role in the accuracy of medication dispensing and record maintenance. Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist, adhering to healthcare regulations. Maintain accurate patient medication records and inventory management. Assist with chemotherapy drug preparation in a clean-room environment, adhering to safety protocols. Participate in pharmacy and multidisciplinary rounds, as required for oncology patients. Support pharmacy operations by managing drug supply chain and handling patient-related inquiries. Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, practices, and medications commonly used in oncology. Proficiency in using pharmacy information systems. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with healthcare professionals. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred. Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program. Compliance with state regulatory requirements.
