UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel RN Charge for ICU Nights to join our nonprofit healthcare system. This role is critical in managing the Intensive Care Unit during night shifts, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through exceptional care coordination and staff leadership. You will be collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across various hospitals and outpatient facilities within Colorado, enhancing our commitment to patient-centered care. Oversee nursing staff and coordinate care plans in the ICU during night shifts. Monitor patient condition and provide updates to doctors and healthcare team members. Manage patient admissions, transfers, and discharges efficiently. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Administer medications and treatments according to the prescribed orders. Guide and mentor ICU staff, facilitating professional development and education. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to make quick and accurate decisions In-depth knowledge of critical care techniques and protocols Proficiency in using medical software and patient management systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN licensure BLS/ACLS certification by the American Heart Association CCRN certification preferred for specialized care in critical units
