Job Description:
Stellar Living, a leader in senior care with a reputation for
excellence, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed
Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team. In this role,
you will be integral in enhancing the daily lives and functional
skills of our residents across independent living, assisted living,
and memory care facilities. Your expertise in occupational therapy
will be key in developing personalized treatment plans that promote
maximum independence and maintain the well-being of our clients.
This position requires a commitment to understanding the unique
needs of the elderly and an ability to create a positive impact on
their lives. Evaluate the functional needs and capabilities of
residents through comprehensive assessments. Develop treatment
plans tailored to individual residents, focusing on realistic and
attainable goals. Implement therapeutic interventions to assist
residents in achieving their goals. Monitor and document residents'
progress and adjust treatments as necessary. Collaborate with a
multidisciplinary team including healthcare providers, families,
and other relevant stakeholders. Maintain resident confidentiality
and adhere to all professional and regulatory standards. Educate
residents and their families about the therapy process and how to
accommodate their needs at home. Proficiency in developing and
implementing therapeutic interventions and treatment plans. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with
elderly clients, families, and team members. Ability to work
independently as well as part of a team. Knowledge of regulatory
standards governing care delivery and documentation. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current and valid
occupational therapist license. Certified by the National Board for
Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
