Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory
Therapist to join our team in enhancing the health and well-being
of our patients. At UCHealth, a leading Colorado-based, nonprofit
health system, we focus on delivering patient-centered care across
our widespread healthcare facilities. This role involves assessing,
treating, and caring for patients with breathing or other
cardiopulmonary disorders. The successful candidate will work
collaboratively with a dedicated healthcare team to provide
top-tier respiratory therapy services. Evaluate and treat patients
with breathing disorders and cardiopulmonary issues. Administer and
recommend a variety of therapeutic and diagnostic procedures
including aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, and ventilator
management. Consult with physicians and other healthcare staff to
develop and modify individual patient care plans. Perform
diagnostic tests such as measuring lung capacity. Educate patients
and families on lung health and maintenance therapies. Maintain
patient charts and confidential files. Proficiency in ventilator
management Experience with pulmonary rehabilitation Strong
diagnostic abilities Excellent patient management skills Ability to
work effectively in a team Strong communication and interpersonal

credential Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in Colorado Basic
Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life
