Job Description:
Department: Highly specialized in the care of all solid organ
transplants (kidney, liver, pancreas, heart/lung), thoracic
surgery, and hepatology. We have extensive experience with living
donor liver transplants and are the only academic medical center
with a dedicated Transplant specialty unit in the Rocky Mountain
region Work Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2
weeks) Shift: Rotating D/N Pay: $50.00 per hour plus travel
package/stipend This position is an onsite role and does not offer
a hybrid or remote option. CO RN license or eNLC privileges
~Provides top of scope practice in direct patient care utilizing
the nursing process Models proficiency through precepting those new
to healthcare and/or UCHealth Contributes to secure safety and
quality at the point of care Acute Care: Direct care includes
specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) Units of moderate to high patient
acuity AMSN's core curriculum and various specialty certification
standards are included in evidence based care models for each unit
Clinical Educators support and guide individualized specialty
education and training for competency validation throughout
clinical orientation In small, personal ways through human
