Job Description OB/GYN Nocturnist Opportunity – Longmont, Colorado Seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Nocturnist to provide overnight inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care at UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, patient-centered environment supported by a multidisciplinary care team. Position Details: Provide comprehensive overnight obstetric care including labor management, deliveries, postpartum care, and triage Manage urgent gynecologic consults and emergency obstetric situations Perform rapid assessments and interventions for maternal and fetal complications Collaborate with a team of OB/GYN physicians, advanced practice providers, and onsite multispecialty teams Ensure continuity of care through effective communication and handoffs with daytime providers Document patient care and procedures using Epic EMR Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and hospital committees as needed Support mentoring and training of residents or advanced practice providers when applicable Flexible nocturnist schedule averaging 6–12 shifts per month Requirements: MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certified in OB/GYN Active Colorado medical license or willingness to obtain Active DEA registration (required prior to start) Current NPDB Self-Query report dated within 30 days of presentation Clean malpractice history preferred Additional Notes: Position is not open to locum or locum-to-permanent candidates Visa sponsorship is not available Opportunity to work in a modern hospital environment with a collaborative and supportive clinical team
