UCHealth, a leader in healthcare in Colorado, is seeking a dedicated RN for our Acute Care Resource Pool to join our innovative team. Our nonprofit health system provides high-quality, patient-centered care across various hospitals and outpatient facilities. This position requires flexibility and adaptability to work across different acute care settings, offering a unique opportunity to gain diverse experience and provide critical support to multiple departments. Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various acute care settings within the hospital. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and monitor responses. Record patient medical information and vital signs, update charts and patient records to ensure accuracy. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and self-care skills. Serve as a liaison between the healthcare team, patients, and families. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Strong clinical skills in acute care nursing Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to adapt to changing environments Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
