Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel RN
Ortho Nights to join our dynamic orthopedics team. Based in the
vibrant state of Colorado, UCHealth is renowned for its
patient-centered approach, leveraging state-of-the-art technology
to deliver exceptional medical care. This role specifically focuses
on providing outstanding nursing services to orthopedic patients
during night shifts. The selected candidate will have the
opportunity to work in a supportive environment that prioritizes
professional growth and high-quality patient care. Provide
high-quality nursing care for orthopedic patients during night
shifts. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in
collaboration with the orthopedic team. Administer medications,
maintain accurate patient records, and effectively manage patient
pain. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care
and mobility practices. Collaborate with other healthcare
professionals to ensure seamless and comprehensive care delivery.
Participate in continuous education to stay updated on orthopedic
nursing practices and technologies. Proven ability to handle
orthopedic emergencies Excellent patient assessment skills Strong
communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively
in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado BLS/ACLS certification
from the American Heart Association Orthopedic Nurse Certified
(ONC) preferred
