Job Description:
UCHealth is looking for a dedicated and skilled Cardiovascular
Sonographer Traveler to join our nonprofit health care system,
which spans across multiple hospitals and outpatient facilities in
Colorado. In this role, you will utilize state-of-the-art equipment
to create images of structures inside the human body that are used
by physicians to make a medical diagnosis. The ideal candidate will
be responsible for traveling to various UCHealth locations to
support imaging needs, reflecting our commitment to
patient-centered care and excellence in health service delivery.
Operate and maintain all sonographic equipment safely and
effectively. Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure
comfort and safety during scans. Conduct diagnostic procedures
using ultrasound equipment while adhering to prescribed safety
procedures. Travel to different UCHealth facilities, adapting to
varying environments and teams. Analyze sonographic images and
discuss findings with physicians. Maintain patient records and add
medical notes related to the ultrasound procedure. Educate patients
about the process and address any concerns or questions they might
have. Proficient in using diagnostic ultrasound equipment Ability
to interpret images and assist in diagnostic procedures Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills Adaptable to diverse
environments Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Medical
