Job Description:

UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to work overnight shifts. This position requires an individual who thrives in high-pressure environments and is committed to delivering the highest quality of patient care. As part of our ICU team, you will handle critical care patients, monitoring their conditions, administering treatments, and providing support to patients and their families. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients. Follow established nursing protocols and clinical pathways for managing critical patients. Coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Handle patient admissions and recovery, provide post-operative care, and document patient status. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures, and other aspects of therapeutic regimens. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Strong clinical skills in a critical care setting Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team Proficient in using electronic health record systems Excellent communication and empathy skills Advanced knowledge of infection control practices Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS/CPR certification ACLS certification preferred
