Active Colorado Physical Therapist license is required to start the assignment. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Outpatient physical therapy experience, including evaluation and plan of care development. Experience performing 60-minute initial evaluations and 30-minute follow-up treatments, including documentation of goals and functional outcome measures. Ability to complete timely, accurate medical record documentation, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry per clinic and payer guidelines. Demonstrated clinical reasoning to develop treatment plans and progress patients toward discharge goals. Willingness to participate in student supervision and precepting as assigned. Maintain professional licensure in good standing and comply with state practice act and required continuing education. Preferred: prior experience in a high-volume outpatient setting and familiarity with safe patient handling and materials handling protocols. Assignment Details Facility Type: Outpatient. Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule. Duration: 13-week assignment (client desires a 6-month contract where possible). Patient Visit Structure: 60-minute evaluations; 30-minute follow-ups. Workload: Approximately 40 hours per week. May be required to float to other clinics within the region as needed.
