Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $20.87
- $27.13 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant
experience This position is an onsite role and does not offer a

Summary: Provides care of urologic patients under the direction of
a Registered Nurse or provider and assists with minor procedures.
Responsibilities: Obtains patient history and vital signs. Explains
procedures, documents care, and communicates findings with RN and
Physician. Assists with urologic radiographic and ultrasound
examinations and cystoscopies. Performs UDS studies with Provider
is present. Assists with minor surgical procedures. Performs
urinary catheter insertions and removals. Performs laboratory
duties. Assists with simple dressing changes. Communicates
prescription refill requests to Physician and calls in refills to
pharmacy. Performs delegated clinical tasks with a written provider
order. Collects or prepares specimens. Administers medications and
injections per practice-specific guidelines. Sends specimens to
testing laboratory. Communicates abnormal results to providers.
Cleans and restocks rooms, supplies and equipment. Transports
patients. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills,
decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal
supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and
take appropriate action. Requirements: Basic Life Support
Completion of a Medical Assistant program through an accredited
school or documentation of a medical program that meets the
criteria of a medical assistant program such as military prepared
corpsman or medic. Trained in urological procedures through
vocational or post-hire on-the-job physician training. Basic Life
Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. Relevant certification as
determined at position level. 1 year of healthcare related
experience. BLS through the American Heart Association or the
American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card
in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through
sixty days of hire. One of the following credentials: Certified
Medical Assistant (CMA); Registered Medical Assistant (RMA); State
licensure as EMT, EMT-I, or Paramedic. Employees are our number one
