Greeley Village is a high end property with expectation of top qualify food service. If you are an expert in eclectic fine dining cuisine and service with the ability to shift menus to accommodate the balance for comfort food, then this positon may be for you!The Director of Culinary Experience will be responsible for food service operations within the community including all food preparation, dining room operations and dining delivery services. Purchases all food and manages inventory ensuring effective cost controls and vendor service and quality. Ensures the highest nutrition and food quality for the health and pleasure of the residents. Complies with all federal, state and local regulations to ensure sanitary and safe operations. Become part of our family and find your Cadence.Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage all food and beverage staff to include front and back of house operations.
  • Achieve all budgetary goals.
  • Ensure resident satisfaction through a top-notch dining experience.
  • Maintain all departmental documentation according to state and federal regulations.
  • Plan and execute all menus and meal preparation; plan community functions.
  • Maintain inventory control of food, alcohol, supplies and equipment
  • Food, alcohol, and equipment purchasing.
  • Manage dining staff; recruit, interview, hire and evaluate.
  • Provide safe and comfortable work environment.
  • Monitor all food handling procedures.
  • Continually explores means of revenue enhancement and expense reduction.Qualifications
    • Culinary or Associate degree or six plus years of Dining Executive or Director experience.
    • Hands on experience in food preparation, three years minimum as an Executive Chef.
    • Minimum of five years of progressive management experience
    • Both front and back of the house experience.
    • Ability to meet financial goals.
    • Knowledge of various computer systems, particularly Excel and Word.
    • High degree of accuracy in all assignments; ability to manage time effectively, work with numerous interruptions.
    • Strong in initiative, good judgment; employs professional ethics; has a pleasant manner, good communication skills and the ability to motivate.
    • Capacity to work in stressful environment and to work evenings and/or weekends, and on call 24/7.
