Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for a skilled operating room technician specializing in orthopedic and spine procedures. This contract role is based near Littleton, CO, within a facility known for its Spine, Joint, and International Hip Preservation Center. Location The facility is located in Lone Tree, CO, a vibrant suburban city known for its beautiful parks, shopping centers, and close proximity to the Rocky Mountains. Responsibilities Support surgical teams in a high-volume orthopedic and spine OR setting. Assist with procedures including hip, knee, shoulder joint replacements, arthroscopic sports medicine, and spine surgeries such as repairs and fusions. Manage and operate multiple types of OR equipment efficiently. Collaborate closely with RNs, surgeons, and ancillary staff to ensure patient safety and optimal procedural flow. Maintain compliance with all unit policies and guidelines. Qualifications and Experience Proven experience in orthopedic, sports medicine, total joint, and spine procedures is required. Current NBSTA and DORA certifications are mandatory. Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and interact professionally with diverse team members. Work Environment 13 operating rooms staffed by a dedicated team including variable RNs, CSTs, and ancillary personnel. Patient ratios typically maintain a 1:1 RN/CST per OR for quality care.
