Cumberland Farms, known affectionately as 'Cumby's,' seeks a skilled Restaurant General Manager to oversee operations in our newly launched in-store dining experience, featuring Sbarro pizza. As a key leader within our innovative convenience store setting, the General Manager will manage all facets of restaurant operations to ensure exceptional quality and service. This role involves strategic business planning, team management, and operational efficiency to promote the success of our Sbarro restaurant. The ideal candidate will champion the Cumbys values of convenience and customer satisfaction, driving the stores profitability and community engagement. Oversee daily operations of the Sbarro restaurant within the Cumberland Farms store. Implement strategies to enhance profitability and efficiency while maintaining high standards of food and service quality. Manage budgeting and cost controls with a keen focus on waste reduction and profitability. Hire, train, and guide staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Engage with customers to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with Cumberland Farms management to align Sbarro’s operations with overall store objectives. Strong leadership and people management skills Experience in budget management and cost control Prowess in restaurant operation and service excellence Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities Certification in Food Safety Optional: Certified Restaurant Manager (CRM) credentials
