Job Description Job Description Primary Job Title: Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative II Alternate / Related Job Titles: Patient Services Representative II Clinical Phlebotomist II Senior Phlebotomist Laboratory Patient Services Associate Location & Onsite Flexibility: Highlands Ranch, CO — Onsite Contract Details: Position Type: Contract Contract Duration: 4 Months Start: As Soon As Possible Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour Schedule / Shift: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (MST) Flexibility required for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as business needs dictate. Job Description: The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as a key patient-facing professional responsible for performing high-quality phlebotomy and specimen processing while delivering exceptional customer service. This role supports patient trust and confidence through accurate, safe, and compassionate care. PSR IIs demonstrate leadership behaviors, process excellence , and strict adherence to confidentiality and accuracy standards. Assignments may include work at a Patient Service Center or physician office based on business needs. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily phlebotomy and specimen processing activities accurately and on time Collect clinical and forensic specimens following established procedures Verify patient identity, demographics, and specimen labeling post-venipuncture Maintain required records and documentation Ensure a safe, professional, and patient-centered environment Travel to multiple locations with minimal notice as required Promote a positive organizational image to patients, clients, and the public Comply with all company policies, safety standards, and guiding principles Required Skills & Qualifications: Required: High school diploma or equivalent 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience , including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections Ability to deliver error-free work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong independent work capability with minimal supervision Excellent customer service and communication skills Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if applicable) Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, overtime, and multiple locations Keyboarding and data entry proficiency Preferred: Medical assistant or paramedic training Minimum 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment Customer service experience in a retail or service setting Phlebotomy certification (required only in CA, NV, and WA) Training: Training locations may vary based on trainer availability.
