Job Description Job Description Billingual Spanish Temporary Workforce Supervisor (Dist. Lead) Shift: 10am-8:30pm M-TH Pay Rate: $24.70 - $28.00 Reports To: Operations Management Position Summary Provides frontline leadership and oversight for the temporary workforce as an extension of the Operations Management team within a fast-paced warehouse environment. Ensures temporary employees meet productivity, quality, and safety standards to support efficient inbound and outbound freight operations. Key Responsibilities Supervise and direct daily activities of temporary warehouse staff (e.g., loading/unloading, order pulling, freight sorting, housekeeping). Assign work, set daily priorities, and monitor productivity to ensure timely and accurate processing of freight. Reinforce compliance with safety standards, company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and client-specific work instructions. Train and onboard contingent staff on operational processes, safety protocols, SOPs, and customer-specific requirements. Train, evaluate, and certify temporary employees on material handling equipment (MHE) and ensure completion of required operational and safety training. Conduct refresher training and coaching to address performance gaps. Provide real-time coaching and performance feedback; escalate employee relations concerns to Operations Management as appropriate. Track attendance, productivity, quality, and training completion metrics. Coordinate with Operations Management to align labor resources with operational demands. Scope & Authority Direct oversight of temporary workforce employees. Authority to assign work, deliver training, certify MHE operation (as authorized), and recommend corrective action. Operates under established policies and the guidance of Operations Management. Maintains active involvement in daily warehouse operations while providing workforce supervision, training, and performance oversight to ensure operational continuity and service excellence. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Louisville, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
