Knowledge and Requirements

Minimum 5-7 years' relevant experienceExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsDetail orientedCustomer service orientedCapable to maintain confidential informationStrong understanding of networking, hardware, software, firewalls, and serversStrong troubleshooting and research skillsGeneral Outline of ResponsibilitiesAssists with networking for all entities and locationsRun and terminate network cableTroubleshoots both wired and wireless infrastructureTroubleshoot & maintain firewalls and network edge technologyMaintain and configures networks servers and large outdoor wireless network Maintain security standards on all access pointsEstablish and maintains a VPNProvide technical support by investigating problems and creating solutions that can be implemented in an expedient mannerClean, diagnose and repair hardware, software, and virtualizationRunning diagnostics for errors while documenting problems, resolutions, and assessing impactInstall and upgrade products and software as necessaryPerform system monitoring to ensure all hardware/software is running effectively and is available to all usersEnsure that all systems are on an upgrade timeline and updates are completedAssist and support users in-house software questions and problems (desktop applications, workstations, related equipment)Assist with server maintenance, troubleshooting, and resource monitoringMaintains and troubleshoots firewalls, VMWare server and other installed softwareAssist Systems Administrator with server resource monitoringAssist users with active directory credentialsEnsure Microsoft updates are made to servers timelyPowered by JazzHR
