the Role Artera’s Engineering team is looking for a talented
Engineering Manager to lead a team of 4-6 engineers. The team is a
high-impact, flexible squad that intersects with multiple teams
across the organization to handle integrations, authentication, and

while scaling our capacity to meet business demands.
Responsibilities Team Development : Coach, mentor, and guide
engineers in technical skills, career growth, and communication,
ensuring a continuous focus on building and scaling high-performing

constant change and shifting priorities, including AI-assisted
development. Accountability : Ensure that leadership is never
surprised by team status and that a deep level of trust is built
with the engineers. Player-Coach Mindset : Maintain a "must-have"
mindset for hands-on work; while not coding daily, you are ready to
step into the code to unblock the team or expedite delivery.
Requirements Engineering Experience : 4 years of experience in
software engineering; Strong preference for React, Typescript,
Node.js and Postgres SQL Management Experience : 1 year managing,
coaching and developing agile software engineering teams in a SaaS
environment. AI Champion : A champion for modern AI tooling and
process improvements, with a proven ability to evangelize and drive
AI-assisted development practices across engineering teams.
Communication : Exceptional organizational and communication
skills, necessary for cross-functional work among teams.

through evolving project scopes and organizational changes.

for a government background check and operate within strict code
management, access, and documentation standards. Security-conscious
development and participation in compliance practices are core to
the role. OUR APPROACH TO WORK LOCATION Artera has hybrid office

preferences when relevant. As our hubs grow, we may establish local
offices to further enhance in-person connection and collaboration.
While there are no current plans in place , should an office open
in your area, we anticipate implementing a hybrid model. Any future
