Uloop News, one of the fastest-growing college blogging websites, is looking for new Student Writers. Uloop News is currently offering two writing positions: Contributor and Intern. CONTRIBUTORS: Writers who choose the Contributor position do not receive college credit. This position is simply available to allow students to build up a writing portfolio and to get published for free online. This position requires writers to submit a short article online (at least 400 words) once per week or every other week pertaining to almost any subject of their choice. Writing categories include Local News, Campus Life, Entertainment, Fashion, Sports, Technology, Health, Business, and Politics. Although this is not a paid position, writers will have the opportunity to earn small PayPal payment rewards by amassing points and tokens. Writers also have the chance to earn payments based on the number of page views their pieces draw in. This is a great opportunity for undergraduate students to build their writing portfolios, gain exposure as a writer and to have their work published. This position is available during all semesters. INTERNS: Uloop News interns write at least one article per week that is at least 800 words and which includes well-researched content with sources/hyperlinks, images, quotes, interviews, videos, and more. We expect high-quality writing from our interns. Interns track their own hours and submit a weekly activity log. Interns write for the categories listed below. The internship is entirely online and remote. Students may receive college credit through their college or university; check with your college advisor to see if you can complete an internship with Uloop for credit. Uloop News interns have earned up to 3 hours of academic credit for this internship, when allowed by their schools. We accept Uloop News applications from students attending all universities at any time during the year.
