21st Century Equipment is accepting applications for a Remarketing Coordinator based at the Scottsbluff Support Center. Position is responsible for coordinating and implementing processes that increase used equipment sales, profit margins, and inventory turnover. Utilizes policies that involve valuation, reconditioning and wholesale. Assists with all aspects of the Company's used equipment inventory. Will also include used equipment marketing and advertising. Required skills include excellent analytical skills, methodical, extreme attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills and a great team player. Previous experience in the agricultural equipment industry in sales and used equipment trade values a must. A bachelor's degree in agriculture or related field preferred but not required or one-year related experience. JOB TITLE: Remarketing Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Remarketing Manager

WORKS CLOSELY WITH: Other Sales Coordinators, Controller, Salesmen, Service Managers, Remarketing Manager, & VP of Marketing

JOB SUMMARY: Coordinates and implements plans and processes that increase used equipment sales, profit margins, and inventory turnover. Utilizes policies that involve valuation, reconditioning and wholesale. Assists with all aspects of the Company's used equipment inventory. This includes ensuring it is properly valued, ready for sale and disposed when necessary. This also include negotiating with advertising vendors on ad pricing, ad placement, and ad development.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountable for Company achieving Used Equipment Turnover goals
  • Assigns trade values to assist in selling new equipment while ensuring the profitable resale of used equipment
  • Responsible for re-pricing aged inventory.
  • Develops and manages all aspects of used equipment marketing within the organization; including, but not limited to negotiating with and developing/placing ads with Regional & National Publications.
  • Responsible for setting merchandising standards for used equipment, lot displays, informational hang-tags etc. and relocating equipment as necessary
  • Works directly with John Deere COOP decision makers to get advertising in compliance to receive COOP funding.
  • Prioritizes products to focus advertising on based on seasonality and company need.
  • Assists with used equipment valuation and setting retail "ask/take" price
  • Responsible for directing and coordinating the Certified PreOwned Inventory processes
  • Verifies the completeness and accuracy of used equipment information
  • Process used equipment and attachments into MachineFinder Pro and advertising websites
  • Maintains and helps create all sales and finance programs for used equipment
  • Ensures all technology items and subscriptions are properly transferred (i.e. PowerGard, JD Link, etc.)
  • Responsible for communication of incoming trades and values to sales organization
  • Coordinates and enforces a measureable and consistent reconditioning policy for the organization
  • Owns and communicates the metrics that involve aged inventory levels.

    EXPERIENCE: 1 year equivalent experience

    EDUCATION: BS Business or agriculture-related field preferred, but not required.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Periods of extensive sitting, standing and squatting are routinely required. Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
