Production Administrator - 1st Shift

Job Description:

Summary: Maintains an organized office and polite office environment. Assists production in organizing and verifying all paperwork. Captures data and provides training and coaching to operations personnel. Will be walking back and forth on a meat processing floor therefore safety training and PPE will be mandatory.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following in a real time basis and in a timely and effective manner. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Review and check off batches and testing as it is completed via lab techs
    • Stay up to date on the schedule and where production is at on each of the lines
    • Verify batch records as they come to the lab off lines 1-7
      • Ensure each previous section has been filled out entirely
        • If anything is not filled out, it will be sent back to the lines to be adjusted
        • On the floor training provides updates on policies and processes updates
        • Verify batch records as they come off the plates
        • Verify blend sheet and placards match for what should have been ran, both product and weight wise
          • Stamp batch record if this has been completed and matches what was written on the batch record
          • Tracks and records batch record errors and issues
            • Review with operator at the end of shift
            • Document the review
            • Make a copy of all frozen batch records to hand out to production supervisor/ manager at the end of the shift. Ensure you have a copy of every single one scheduled.
            • Captures data into production recap from batch records
            • Provides training and coaching in real time regarding GDPs and batch record data accuracy
            • Flag batch records as QA holds when necessary
