SUMMARY Provide work and expertise on a variety of maintenance, repair and construction projects for the company by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Complete all tasks in a safety-conscious manner. Report any safety hazards to department or location manager. Mow, water, fertilize, control weeds, and keep outside grounds free of debris at Plaza complex as needed. Paint at facilities as needed Make repairs or build projects, using power and hand tools, as requested by location or division management Assist in maintenance on all company vehicles. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Any plumbing, HVAC, electrical experience preferred, but not required. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, weight measurement, volume, and distance. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must have valid drivers license and good driving record and be willing to get a Class A CDL.
