nearly 300 people and growing strong. Facilities Maintenance Tech
Position Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the
maintenance & repair of company facilities. They ensure buildings,
equipment, and grounds are safe, and in good repair. They monitor
the facilities to ensure they meet all health and safety
requirements. They inspect different equipment and performs any
basic cleaning, repairs, or preventative maintenance when required.
They are responsible for nurturing and cultivating a positive
culture and work environment that aligns with the mission and
values of the organization. Facilities Maintenance Tech Essential
Duties Conducts routine inspections of premises and equipment and
handles basic and preventative maintenance and repairs of machines,
equipment, and structures, as necessary.
Installs appliances, equipment, and furniture.
Reports to FM issues, problems, or jobs requiring outside
professional assistance and oversees contractors when professional
repairs are necessary.
Diagnoses mechanical issues and corrects them.
Oversees/maintains company's security, HVAC, lighting, landscaping,
and irrigation systems.
Oversees, maintains, and repairs locks, including managing
distribution of keys to personnel in conjunction with HR &
executive level leaders.
Oversees/maintains company's IT infrastructure, phone, internet,
PA, and video systems in coordination with IT company.
Checks control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues.
Oversees the removal of waste oil and inspects the functionality of
Oversees replacement of lifts in service shops, assuring all
federal and state regulations are met.
Coordinates with FM on prioritizing requests in the organization's
maintenance request portal.
Assist with other duties as assigned. Facilities Maintenance Tech
Education High school degree or equivalent required.
Related degree, certification from a credited institution.
Facilities Maintenance Tech Experience 2-3 years previous facility
maintenance or proven maintenance experience.
Experience with pulling trailers and driving larger trucks, and
small tractors. Supervisory Expectations: This job has no
supervisory responsibilities. Wages - Hourly, Non-Exempt: $18.00 -
$22.00 DOE Benefits - If hired to a full-time position, the company
