The shift will be from 08:00 to 16:30. One year of experience is required. Candidates who are new to the field are welcome to apply. Weekend work is not required for this position. Candidates must hold an ASCP-PA certification. Individuals will be expected to float between service lines as needed. The role will take place within a community hospital setting. The focus will be on well-developed cancer service lines, including head and neck, breast, and prostate cancers. Occasional cases involving thoracic and abdominal cancers will also be encountered. Candidates should be capable of macroscopic descriptions and the dissection of specimens. Experience with specimen accessioning, receipt, and labeling is essential.
