UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in Colorado, is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist I to join our dynamic radiology team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging studies necessary for patient diagnosis and care. You will operate radiologic equipment, prepare patients for imaging procedures, and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements while delivering the highest level of patient-centered care across our hospitals and outpatient facilities. Operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes Position patients and adjust equipment for taking X-rays while considering patient comfort and safety Follow prescribed safety procedures to protect patients and staff from undue exposure to radiation Maintain patient records and radiologic logbooks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hospital standards Work closely with the radiologist to determine the suitability of specific treatments and examinations Provide assistance and care to patients before, during, and after procedures Maintain a clean and safe environment for all radiology procedures Basic knowledge of radiology and diagnostic imaging techniques Proficiency in the use of radiologic technology equipment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent patient interaction skills with the ability to provide compassionate care Ability to work both independently and as part of a medical team Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred
